Home Information Packs (HIPs) - Merseyside

Home Information Packs, or HIP's, have been a legal requirement for any newly marketed property in England and Wales since December 2007. There was a phased introduction in the latter part of 2007 - depending on the number of bedrooms, a property may not currently require a Home Information Pack if it is still available and has been continuously marketed (without any break what-so-ever) since before the following dates:

• Four or more bedroom properties: 1st August 2007
• Three bedroom properties: 10th September 2007
• Two or less bedroom properties: 14th December 2007
